Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-based approach that helps children build meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that interfere with learning and daily life. At ASPIRE, ABA is not one-size-fits-all — every program is individualized, practical, and focused on real-world success.

We primarily serve children and adolescents with autism and related developmental differences, while also supporting older individuals and those without a formal autism diagnosis.

We primarily provide services in home, school, and community settings (when appropriate). This allows us to focus on skills that matter in everyday life, not just in a clinic setting. Our service area includes Austin, Texas and the surrounding communities.

Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) is often 20–40 hours/week for ages 0–8, but intensity depends on your child’s needs. We prioritize appropriate, meaningful intervention, not simply maximizing hours.

We are in network with most major insurance plans and also offer private pay options. While we do not accept Medicaid, we are an in network provider with: United Healthcare/Optum Aetna Seton Ascension/Smarthealth Cigna/Evernorth Blue Cross Blue Shield/Anthem Carelon Magellan

If you are planning to use plan benefits to cover the cost of services, a qualifying diagnosis is required. Most insurance plans cover ABA services for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis.  While ASPIRE can support families throughout the evaluation process, we are not able to provide an official medical diagnosis of autism. Insurance companies require that diagnostic evaluations be conducted and completed by a qualified medical or licensed provider. These typically include: Developmental Pediatricians Licensed Psychologists Neurodevelopmental Pediatricians Neurologists Psychiatrists Assessments conducted by BCBAs, LPCs, LCSWs, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, or educational diagnosticians are generally not accepted by insurance carriers for diagnostic purposes. The qualified provider must personally complete the evaluation. If you need help identifying a qualified diagnostician, we’re happy to help guide you. Once a formal diagnosis has been made and intake begins, ASPIRE BCBAs use a variety of assessments to inform individualized treatment planning and to monitor progress throughout the course of therapy.
